Picadillo Rice

1 1/2 lb. ground turkey1 cup chopped onion1 cup chopped green or sweet red pepper1 28oz. can diced tomatoes1 1/3 cup water4 tbsp. raisins4 tbsp. chopped pimento stuffed olives2 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. ground cumin1/2 tsp. salt1/8 tsp. cinnamon (optional)1 cup long grain rice
In a large skillet cook meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain well.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, water, raisins, olives, chili powder, cumin, salt and cinnamon. Bring to boiling, stir in rice. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
If desired garnish with additional sliced olives.
