Ingredients

1 (12-ounce) can diet lemon-lime soda
1 box white cake mix
2 (16-ounce) bags frozen berries
Tips
Adapted from the Weight Watchers cobbler recipe
Directions
Serves 12.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Place both bags of frozen fruit into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish (do not thaw).
Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of frozen fruit.
Pour entire can of diet soda over the mixture.
Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake an additional 40 minutes.
Let cool and serve.

I made this using frozen strawberries and chocolate cake mix, but when it was all baked, some of the cake mix on the top was still powder, and the mix that sunk down into the berries was thick and not cooked, gooey. I don't know if it was just the whole frozen strawberries that made it like that. - 6/8/14

I've made this one other time & we loved it, but it had been awhile. This time I used one can of diet lemon lime soda, organic mixed fruit, & a box of angel food cake. I found that the soda didn't cover thoroughly, so I will maybe use a can & a 1/2 next time. Or use the club soda as a choice too! - 1/26/16
