Today I made this recipe using frozen strawberries instead of the ice and I liked it even better. I didn't freeze the banana this time or last. - 7/7/15

I have a sweet tooth, but when I use a banana with coffee or cocoa, I find it sweet enough without sugar - 5/16/19

Could I successfully use regular ground coffee instead of instant? Possibly if I brew it first? - 3/26/18

This is very good. I did modify the recipe some. I used agave nectar and put frozen strawberries in instead of the ice cubes and it was really delicious. Definitely will make it again. - 7/15/11

I used this recipe without the instant coffee and it was still very very good. It really hit my sweet tooth for chocolate. I also used agave syrup instead of honey and it is still very good!! - 6/1/11

My 13 year old son made this smoothie for us to share today! Thanks for such a great recipe!!!!!!!! Who needs Starbucks! :-) The only thing changed: I am lactose intolerant so he used my light vanilla soy milk and omitted the vanilla flavoring. - 2/22/10

This was yummy. Definitely satisfied my chocolate craving. By mistake I doubled the cocoa powder. I also used Truvia instead of sugar or honey. Will definitely keep making this one.
