Ingredients

    1 Box Angel Food Cake Mix
    1 can crushed pineapple 20 oz

Directions

Empty angel food cake mix into a large bowl. Add the pineapple and stir until moistened (make sure to scrape sides and bottom) Empty into 9x13 cake pan and bake in preheated 375 oven for 30-35 minutes. Top should be dark golden brown. Cool.

    I have used many different flavorings in Angel Cake mix including the this one. Here are a one more for you to try out! In addition to the can of pineapple add 1 Tbsp of coconut extract and 1 Tbsp of rum extract and you have Pina colada; another is - 8/30/11

    I love this. I make it with "No Sugar Added" canned pie filling. I've tried apple pie filling and cherry pie filling. Don't know the Nutritional Info of the cake as a whole, but I choose to believe it's not fattening. Yummy! - 2/22/10

    I've made this twice. The first time was just with the pineapple. The second time, I put cherry pie filling in the bottom of the pan, then added the cake/pineapple mixture. Really yummy! Next will be with peaches instead of the pineapple. - 4/7/13
