I first tried this recipe several months ago and loved it. It's very yummy and *very* filling. I actually don't stack the tilapia fillets when I make it. I just top each fillet with all the "stuffing" and bake it that way... and then the recipe goes a lot further. :-) - 3/13/07

This was so good.... It will be something that I make again and I think I'll try mixing the topping ingredients together with the cheese and putting it on top. I made it without the crab as I didn't like the quality of what I got once it was opened, that will make it even better I'll bet though. - 5/11/09

This was WONDERFUL. The nutrition is a little off...but it tasted just like Red Lobster's Crab Stuffed Flounder, except better b/c it's cheaper! Tip: I mixed the crab, mushrooms, shrimp and cheese into a mixture before stuffing. - 4/20/09

I have made this several times and even my pick 7 yr old who says he "doesn't like fish" will eat this!! Who can argue when a kids will eat something healthy!!! Very creamy and easy to make. I have added different seasonings to it to vary it. I recommend a touch of real garlic and basil. - 3/8/09

I made this for dinner last night, the family really enjoyed it. My two college girls don't love fish but even they liked it. I did have to leave the mushrooms off for one of the girls. And it was very easy to make. - 3/23/08

I played with a few different variations-- add spinach, try mahi, no crab. My favorite was sundried tomatoes, shrooms, shrimp & crm cheese on top of the filet. I prefer fat free cream cheese, not Neufchatel. Why add more calories?

I recommend using filling as a topping. Don't make the sandwich

Absolutely delicious, and she's right- I DON'T believe how healthy it is!! My only problem is that apparently my Tilapia fillets were much larger than hers. An aduilt could only eat half of one. The kids, a 1/4. NO problem though, the next day I cut it up and served it reheated over egg noodles. - 8/28/07

I tried this recipe for Sunday dinner this past week and my daughter (vegetarian) and husband (total meat eater) both loved it. Next time I think I'll just top each fillet w/the stuffing instead of making the sandwich thing but either way I'm sure we'll love it again. - 3/22/07

This was good, but a little 'rich' for me. I felt like the fish flavor (which I love) was lost. - 3/16/07

Not only is this recipe healthy, but it is also tasty! A word of advice--neufchatel cheese is in the cream cheese isle. I didn'i know this, so it took me a while to find it. - 3/15/07

Tried this last night and it was delicious. Added some Old Bay Cajun seasoning to the fillets and used fat free cream cheese as suggested by earlier comments. Will definitely be making this again. - 2/20/13

easy and delish. DH not a big fan of tilapia...maybe I just can't find good tilapia - just has no flavor of it's own. The stuffing is fantastic! Maybe I'll try another fish. - 3/3/11

OMG....Just AWESOME!!! I made a few changes...like used can crab meat, fresh shrimp that I sauteed with onions, bell peppers, and garlic!! I also used fat free cream cheese!!! I seasoned the fish with cajun seasoning.. And 1/4 cup of bread crumbs. Two thumbs up!!! - 2/11/11

Very good and so simple! The mixture of all the seafood and the mushroom and cheeses was excellent! I couldn't find neufchatel so I used camembert (with a few other cheeses I had on hand). Thank you! - 2/6/11

Awesome! I drizzled my fillets liberally with lemon juice (top & bottom) and added a tiny bit of kosher salt and course ground pepper before baking. The garlic powder was ever so slightly sprinkled on the middle ingredients. I also sprayed the top fillet just a little with olive oil baking spray. - 12/29/10

This was a very food recipe. I used tilapia and flounder (in separate pans of course). Everyone enjoyed it except my DH. He did not like the stuffing. I did subsitute WW cream cheese for the Neufchatel cheese. I will make this again and just bake DH's fish alone. - 6/13/10

Seriously - this is such a GREAT recipe! DELICIOUS! I used only 4 tilapia and made the "filling" the "topping" instead - turned out perfect! I will say it again - SOoooo Good! - 6/7/10
