This is such a great recipe! I cannot get over the poster that stated it looks good but might be to spicy. Why would you rate a recipe before even trying it? Anyway it wasn't spicy at all!
The only thing I would do different is actually to follow the recipe and marinate the meat. definitely a keepe

Finally got a chance to try this recipe which was excellant. Because my husband is diabetic I used syrup with no sugar and chopped garlic in a jar. The mariate I thickened with cornstarch for gravy for the family. In fact I think the mariate would be very good over chicken - 4/21/08

It was okay but just too sweet. If I make again, will have to reduce the maple syrup or subsitute it. - 4/19/08

I used fresh lemon juice as I did not have orange juice in the house. Rather than cooking the meat in the marinade I removed it and then simmered the marinade on the stove top and used it to baste the meat and serve on the side. I will certainly make this again - the whole family enjoyed it. - 2/18/08

The meat was nice and tender and juicy. I didn't have any orange juice so added some lime juice for the acid. I also marinated overnight. I'd like to try this on chicken like another person here did. - 1/15/08

delicious...to cut carbs a little (a lot actually) I use maple flavoring (about 1 1/2 tea) and added some water. I also cook in the crock pot cause I like fall apart meat. Can use any pork roast just make sure to marinade it...over night is best! - 10/21/07

This was a good recipe, but I can't get the stars to reflect it. Anyhoo, my DH loved it. I did it on the grill with a cedar plank I soaked in OJ. I also simmersd the marinade down to a glaze and basted it while grilling. - 4/23/07

Very very good! Had to cook it a bit longer than the 45 minutes, but we had two small tenderloins so that is probably the reason. Served with masked potatoes and used the sauce for a gravy.... Will make again! - 12/29/13

I would shorten the cooking time. Today's pork should come out of the oven at 130 or 135 degrees and allowed to finish coming up to 140 or 140 degrees. But the flavors are great! - 8/31/11

This was the best SP recipe I tried so far. As suggested, I used only ¼ c maple syrup and it turned out great, not too sweet and not too spicy. It is definitely a keeper! : ) - 11/9/10

My husband flipped over this! I didn't have orange juice, so I split the difference between lemon and lime juice for the amount of orange juice, then let it sit in the fridge for a couple hours, then put the whole thing in the smoker, cooked it at 275 for 4.5 hours (no wood, just heat) and OMG! - 9/2/10

Wow! This was so good, sweet and tangy. Not spicy at all. I ended up changing up some stuff to match what I had in the kitchen and marinated it overnight. So juicy and tender! Definitely will make this again! - 4/28/10

This is very good, excellent flavors, I usually don't put cumin or coriander in foods, don't know why, but just used to using safe spices, these spices scare me a little, but I will use more of these spices in future meals. These spices add to this meal, without overpowering. 'Will cook again! - 3/27/09
