Ingredients

    1 (16 oz) package Spaghetti
    1 lb Extra Lean Ground Beef
    1 c Onion, chopped
    1 (26 oz) jar Spaghetti Sauce
    1/2 tsp Seasoned Salt
    1/2 c Better n Eggs
    1/3 c Parmesan Cheese
    5 Tbsp Margarine, melted
    2 c fat free Cottage Cheese
    3 1/2 c fat free Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce and seasoned salt and set aside.

2. In a large bowl, whisk the egg substitute, parmesan cheese and margarine. Drain spaghetti, add to egg mixture and toss to coat.

3.Place half of the spaghetti mixture in a greased, 13x9 pan. Top with half of the cottage cheese, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake 20-25 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

    Very good. I'd describe it as a lasagna spaghetti. Next time I might substitute half of the spaghetti with wheat spaghetti. - 7/29/11
