Introduction

Ingredients

    2 cups chickpeas, drained and rinsed
    1 Tbsp olive oil
    1 Tbsp flavouring (herbs, spices, salts, pepper)

Directions

Toss chickpeas with oil and seasoning. Spread in single layer on baking pan. Bake in 450F oven for 30 minutes, shaking pan every 10 minutes.

Some good flavours:
taco seasoning or chili powder and oregano
basil, oregano, sea salt
powdered sundried tomato and black pepper
lemon pepper seasoning
cajun spice

1 serving is about 1/4 cup of cooked chickpeas.

    I made the and they were chewy - really awful texture. But the next day I decided that I didn't want to waste them so put them back in the oven for almost 30 minutes more. They came out great. Make sure they are completely dry before cooling! - 8/20/15

    I love them with garlic salt and pepper :) I suggest making 2 cans because they are delicious. I usually just spray mine with oil instead of using olive oil.
    I tried cinnamon and brown sugar but not my favorite.
    If they were chewy you probably did not cook long enough.
