Ingredients

12 oz lean ground turkey
1 large white onion, chopped
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 cup organic beef broth
250 grams fat free sour cream
Organic olive oil nonstick cooking spray
1/2 cup fresh chopped chives
Directions
Brown ground turkey with non-stick cooking spray.
Add onions and mushrooms and saute' all until onions begin to caramelize.
Add beef broth, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove lid and reduce beef broth by half.
Remove from heat and add fat-free sour cream.
Serve over organic brown rice or, for a real treat, over baked sweet potato.
Sprinkle with fresh chopped chives.

This was filling and tasty. I did add green peas, garlic, thyme, and black pepper. To MARPARMC, not every sparkmember is from the U. S. Why ruin a recipe's rating for everyone through ignorance? This was amazing! However, the serving size is extremely small. One serving only ends up being probably about a 1/2 - 2/3 cup. One serving will not be enough for a meal. I tried making it a second time with Quorn instead of turkey, and that saved a lot of calories and tasted just as good. - 10/15/07
