This recipe is one of my favorites! It's AMAZING over a baked sweet potato. Very filling, satisfying and tasty.

Oh, and 250 grams is approximately 8 ounces of sour cream. I have to look it up every time!

This was very good! I added some Jane's Crazy Mixed-Up Salt to the mix before I let it simmer and put it over Yolk-Free Egg noodles! Delicious, and keeps wonderfully! - 2/5/09

I left out the mushrooms, but kept everything else the same. Very tasty, but not as much gravy/sauce as I am used to. We served it over egg noodles. All but one child enjoyed it. Great, low calorie meal. - 1/25/09

This was filling and tasty. I did add green peas, garlic, thyme, and black pepper. To MARPARMC, not every sparkmember is from the U. S. Why ruin a recipe's rating for everyone through ignorance? Not trying to be harsh, but we all have things to learn from others. That's life...and why we're at SP. - 1/9/09

Have made this before and is excellent.....MARPARMC, instead of griping someone out and looking foolish, do some research on the site, there is a conversion calculator available for all members to use under the Nutrition section of Healthy Lifestyle - 9/28/08

This was amazing! However, the serving size is extremely small. One serving only ends up being probably about a 1/2 - 2/3 cup. One serving will not be enough for a meal. I tried making it a second time with Quorn instead of turkey, and that saved a lot of calories and tasted just as good. - 10/15/07

Isn't FatFree Sour Cream THE BEST!!!!! I use it in everything when I want a creamy texture without the calories. Its great for salad dressing too! This was a great dish. I did add garlic and other seasoning though. - 5/31/09

It sounds like a good recipe and I would like to try. If you use beef stock instead of beef broth you can control the salt. Beef stock has no added salt you add your own if you wish. I use it all the time. Beef broth has sodium in it. - 5/31/09

We had this last night and the family gave it a three star. For me, it was good but it needs a little more flavor and the wife says it should be creamier.

    Thanks for sharing.

I was really craving stroganoff, but knew that I shouldn't have the noodles. My dad refuses to eat chicken or turkey, but I made it with Turkey anyway. He ended up licking in plate clean. This was so yummy with the sweet potatoes! - 3/14/12
