Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 tilapia fillets, about 4 oz. each
    1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
    2 tbsp. olive oil
    salt, pepper, and/or seasonings to taste (not included in Nutrition Facts)

Directions

Cut tilapia into 3 inch pieces/strips. Season if desired and coat with breadcrumbs. Cook fish in hot oil 6-8 minutes in a 12-inch skillet, turning once, until golden brown and easily flaked with a fork. Serve with veggies and cous cous or on hoagies with peppers and lettuce.

    This was wonderful! I added 2 Tbsp parmesan cheese, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp. sea salt to the bread crumbs. 2 out of 3 of my picky kids ate it! :) - 5/12/10

    Delicious, and EASY! I used Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs and stirred in some garlic powder, a dash of cayenne and some black pepper. Served with couscous and broccoli. Yum! - 7/10/13
