They weren't bad but I found the molasses a little overpowering. Plus salt & chocolate chips were referenced in the directions but not listed in the ingredients. I omitted the chips but added 1/4 tsp. of salt which worked. - 1/6/09

Yes, I would make them again. Very good. Salt and chocolate chips are referenced in the instructions but not listed in the ingredients. How much salt? I left out chips and put in raisins and guessed at the amt of salt 1/4 tsp. - 12/7/08

    Incredible!
I just made these because I read somewhere that molasses has a lot of calcium. They're really good. They'd be really good for fall or thanksgiving too. - 8/11/11

I just checked the "calories by ingredients" and the chocolate chips are NOT listed! If you decide to add chocolate chips, they are EXTRA calories! I'm making these today, so I don't know how they taste yet! - 11/12/10

I can't to try these because it blends two of my favorite cookies (oatmeal raisin and gingersnaps {which contain molasses})! I just read that 1 Tbsp of molasses contains 172 mg of Calcium! - 5/24/09
