I think the measurements in the recipe are incorrect. 12-15 strawberries would be more like 1 1/2 cups depending on the size. I use the Kirkland frozen strawberries and 5-7 (med - large) are a cup. I also do a cup of Silk vanilla soy milk & a cup of strawberries - taste like a milk shake. YUMMY! - 8/18/09

I just made this smoothie. If you add a very healthy dollop of low-fat plain Greek yogurt, you can boost the protein to 20 g's or more. - 12/2/09

no! no! no! Absolutely no sweet and low or splenda unless you want an ample dose of aspartame and sucralose. There are natural sugars in fruit, sugar in smoothies is so unneccessary :( - 8/11/12

Delish. I substituted a packet of Stevia for Splenda and French Vanilla yogurt for the Greek; it was the first homemade smoothie my kids liked as much as storebought. - 3/8/11

I make this every morning but with reduced OJ... only 50 calories per glass and tastes just as good. It's a little more spendy for a carton but worth it. I also add a dollop of greek yogurt for a little creaminess. - 7/14/09

Is my measuring little off? I can only fit 6 strawberries in half-a-cup and 8-9 blackberries. This would make more like a 3-cup serving. - 7/1/09

This recipe is fantastic =) Even my little brothers drank it, and they're dead set against fruit. I will definitely be making this again.
I especially appreciate the fact that this is a smoothie NOT involving bananas because I HATE bananas.
