Used soy sauce instead of the fish sauce. This is really, really good! It got an enthusiastic thumbs-up from my husband and we're looking forward to making this for family gatherings. - 9/6/10

Chemistry. I could not believe these weird ingredients made such a great taste when mixed together. Caution: if you are using Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, use HALF a Tbsp or your sinuses will explode. Next time I would use less fish sauce. This is YUMMY and worth buying the weird ingredients for! - 12/9/12

YUM. I used oj + lemon juice because we didn't have any lime. I added rice wine vinegar (cause I didn't' read the recipe closely enough). I also subbed some maple syrup for the sugar just for fun. Very good, tons of flavor. I bet this would be amazing with some chopped cilantro on top. Thanks! - 2/27/11

This was super cheap, super easy, and SUPER tasty! Next time I will use a bigger bag of slaw mix though, I only used a 14 oz bag and there was a bit too much sauce. I also subbed the fish sauce for soy sauce and it turned out great! A new staple in my household for sure! Thanks for the recipe! - 7/9/09
