Introduction

I am not one who measures my ingredients a lot - I am more of the cook who chops and dumps into the pot!!!! So I apologize in advance if I am a little off with the amounts/measurements!!!

I buy a lot of my produce fresh from a local stand - so for the green beans, I buy them in the green cardboard box like container. I am guessing there is about 4 cups in there?!?!

This recipe can always be adjusted to taste and seasoning it is up to your imagination!!!

My husband and I love spicey greenbeans and adore garlic, so I sauteed some fresh garlic with the rue and we added some pepper (pizza pepper) to it.....think this would be good with asparagus too. - 4/25/10

Loved this! Easy to make and delicious! I used whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose and sliced fresh garlic cloves instead of the powder. I love the crisp crunch of the beans! - 10/28/09

We really enjoyed this. It didn't cook up quite like I pictured it, so I added about a quarter cup of chicken broth and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes. - 4/8/09

Absolutely Amazing!! I will never go back to the boring old steaming method again. I did add a few slices of fresh ginger and cooked the beans in the skillet for a while longer (~8min) - 11/5/08
