Added frozen peas, TVP, fresh rosemary, cumin, paprika, cayenne, salt & pepper. Sprinkled paprika on top of the mashed potatoes. Baked at 350 then turned off the oven and left it for an hour (waiting for my wife to get off work). Was yummy, all had seconds. - 7/3/14

I would make a turkey cottage pie using a gravy made from stock instead of creamed soup. Then add loads of veggies along with. This is a good starting point though. - 1/8/10

We like a curry blend instead of the garlic but it's generally a good versatile recipe. - 11/18/09

When I made this I used lean hamburger meat and cream of mushroom soup. Also instead of the canned veggies, I mixed in frozen carrots (dethawed), fresh spinach, minced red bell pepper, & diced onion. I also topped it off with some cheese. This was a great idea for a meal - I'll be making this alot!! - 6/20/09

Another awesome recipe. My husband made this while I wasn't home, so I was pleased when I ate it the next day for lunch. Very filling and great for a baby who's learning to eat textured solid foods too! - 2/2/09

We made this last night, it turned out great! I've made Shepard's Pie from 'scratch' before, and this tasted the same and with much less effort! Used Yukon Gold instant mashed and peas/carrots mix. Even my 3 year old loved it! Thanks. - 1/16/09
