Ingredients
-
1 (10 ounce) package Fresh Express Baby Spinach
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 red onion, chopped
2 teaspoons dried oregano, divided
4 ounces crumbled feta
1 1/3 pounds ground turkey breast or chicken
1 tablespoon grill seasoning
Tips
I usually double the recipe so I have extras for lunch the next day. I love these things.
Directions
Microwave the spinach until wilted.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. To one side, add a little extra-virgin olive oil add the chopped garlic and chopped red onion and cook 5 minutes. Transfer the onions and garlic to a bowl to cool. Return pan to heat.
Wring the spinach dry by twisting it in a clean kitchen towel over your sink. Separate the spinach as you add it to the bowl with cool onions, garlic and season with 1 teaspoon of oregano. Add in feta crumbles then chicken or turkey, grill seasoning and a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil. Mix and form into 4 patties, 1-inch thick. Raise heat on pan to medium-high. Add patties and cook 6 min on each side. Makes 4 burgers

These are AMAZING. I was skeptikal, because I am big on flavor and hate pretty meals that don't taste good. This was quick and easy to make! I think I used way more spinach and I also used the whole McCormick packet. The patties were fat and the spinash, onions and garlic just made it sooo tasty! - 11/13/08
