The armoa is wonderful. Tasted while still cooking delicious. Especially like because my daughter is vegitarian - so I got everything going then separated some for her and added the chicken for the rest of us. - 1/20/10

I had some salsa which was near its "use by" date so substituted a cup of that for the tomato sauce--otherwise made this exactly as stated. Will make it again too! - 8/30/09

I made this soup last night and thought it was fantastic!!! Because of a posters comment to only use one can of tomatoes, I did the same...but next time I will use the second can :) I like a lot of red in my tortilla soup...I ended up garnishing it with salsa, cheese, and sour cream!! Thank you!!! - 5/7/09

This recipe is delicious! It is better than any restaurant tortilla soup I've had! I added shredded cheese and sliced avocado on top and I also used fire-roasted diced tomatoes. Yummy! - 12/22/08
