I was a little concerned as I was making these because they really smelled garlicky BUT they are GREAT! Crunchy, spicy and good for you - what a combo! I will definitely make again and play with the seasonings I use. - 5/23/08

I loved this! I cut down the oil to just 1 Tbs, but could probably go with just a tsp next time. Great alternative to popcorn when you get the munchies. - 2/14/12

I munch on these at my desk at work. But mine did not get toasty or crunchy or dry. I even stuck them in the toaster oven for 8 mins after I noticed that. - 4/8/08

I spiced with garlic powder, salt, cumin, paprika and a touch of cayanne. Left them in for 40 minutes at 450°. A few at the edges got too brown, but the rest were mostly crunchy! - 3/9/16

I make these a lot with different spices. A nice substitute for chips, though I will say that the first time I had them I didn't like them. It took another try, but now I really love them. Great when you want something crunchy salty and spicy. - 7/1/09

Tasty and healthy snack. I had tried them pre-packaged from India and was looking for a good recipe. Some of mine burned and others were still mushy. I'll need to experiment to figure out how to get them done just right. - 2/17/08

These turned out pretty tasty! I only cooked them for 20 minutes based on everyone else's reviews. They didn't turn out very crunchy, but are very flavorful and make a great snack in addition to adding to salads and stirfrys. - 11/24/08

The first time I made these, they were dry, bland, and overcooked, but my 3 year old daughter LOVED them!!!

I have some in the oven now on 425 for 20 minutes instead, and I used Mrs Dash Table Blend for the seasoning, they smell terrific this time!

I made this last night only instead of chili powder i used ground rosemary and then after baking I added a little grated ramano cheese. They are a great snack. I left mine in a little to long and they were really dry. Next time I will check them a little earlier. Thanks for the resipe. - 11/19/07

I drained the chick peas, maybe I should not have???
They were dry, and over done. I would have to tweak the recipe to want to make it again. I sure do love the idea of having them for a healthy snack.
