    1 cup corn meal
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    4 teaspoon baking powder
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    3/4 cup Almond 'milk", or water
    2 tablespoon applesauce
    1/4 cup egg substitute


Sift together corn meal, flour, baking powder and salt. Add remaining ingredients; mix well with a spoon. Pour into a 9 round teflon baking dish (or spray a 9 round glass baking dish with oil & flour non-stick spray). Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

The original recipe calls for Mollasses so if you add this it will change the calories. I tend to top with just a bit of honey for a sweeter taste!
