Introduction

Comfort food at its best. This freezes well also...This was made as low cal as I could, but you could easily add for more flavor... We also add carrots, broc, zuchinni- whatever you have. ALSO- you can slice nuked potatos instead of using the flakes. VERY adaptable :) Comfort food at its best. Ingredients

1 bag morning star farms meal starters
    whole sweet onion chopped
    1 c. celery
    montreal steak seasoning
    dash worstershire sauce

2 slices fat free american cheese cut into 1" pieces.
    2 c frozen peas
    1 can corn

3 c. Mashed potato flakes- made with 4.5 water/salt only
3/4 c. kraft fat free chedder

Directions

Brown the onion and celery- about 15 minutes.

Add in morningstar farms meal starter (meat) with seasonings and worstershire sauce. Stir.

Spoon into bottom of 9 x 16 casserole dish.
Add frozen peas in layer on top
Add canned corn in layer on top
Tear up fat free american cheese in layer

Make up mashed potatos. I make them with just water & salt. They are more flavorful if you use real potatos or milk... but my fam dosen't mind.

Spread on top of casserole.
Sprinke on cheese.
Bake for 20 mins.

This makes 12 - x 3ish servings... my kids and I usually eat one each- husband 3 or 4.

This can be put into 2 dishes and one frozen.

Number of Servings: 12
