    *Canola Oil, 2 tsp
    Onions, raw, chopped, 1 small
    Milk, nonfat, 0.25 cup
    Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain, 1 cup
    *Ketchup, Heinz, 12 tbsp
    worcestershire sauce, 4 tsp
    Ground beef, extra lean, 16 oz
    Egg, fresh, beaten, 1 extra large
    Mrs. Dash seasoning mix, 1.25 tsp
    Garlic powder, 0.5 tsp


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Heat the oil in a medium skillet over mediuj high heat. Add the onion and cook until tender, 5 to 7 min. Transfer to a large bowl.
Combine the milk and bread crumbs in a small bowl and set aside. Combine 1/4 cup of the ketchup and 2 tsp of the worcestershire sauce in another small bowl and set aside.
Add the remaining 1/2 cup ketchup, the remaining 2 tsp worcestershire sauce, and the remeamining five ingredients to the bowl with the onion. Add the moistened bread crumbs and mix until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
Mound the meat loaf mixture in a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake for 45 min. Remove from the oven and skim off some of the excess fat. Spread the ketchup mixture ove the top. Bake until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center registers 160 degrees F, about 30 min more. Let stand for about 15 min before serving.
