    Butter, salted, .5 cup
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Egg, fresh, 2 large
    Flour, white, 1 cup
    Salt, 1 dash
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    Rum, 30 mL
    Apples, fresh, 250 grams


Preheat oven to 350. Spray a glass pie plate lightly with PAM. Beat butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs and vanilla and rum. Slowly beat in flour and salt. Pour into prepared plate. Quickly peel and slice apples arranging attractively over the top. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes or until center is set . Serves 8 moderate sized peices.
