    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    4T light margarine
    10 slices cubed bread
    1 1/4t sage or poultry seasoning
    2/3c. chopped celery
    1 can chicken and rice soup
    1/2 can water
    2/3c. dried cherries


Brown onion in butter, add remaining ingredients and mix. You may need to add more water if too dry. Pour into greased dish, cover, and bake at 325F for one hour.
