A quick and filling dinner with few calories and low sodium. A quick and filling dinner with few calories and low sodium.
Number of Servings: 2


    2 Medium Portabello Mushroom caps.
    1/4 cup canned pizza/spaghetti sauce (Muir Glen Organic)
    2 T diced onion
    1/4 cup low moisture/part skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
    Italian seasoning


Preheat oven to 350'F

Wash caps and pat dry. Put on baking dish. Add half the onion to each cup.. Bake for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Put 2T of sauce in each cap.

Sprinkle a small amount of italian seasoning to the top of the sauce.

Sprinkle 1/8 cup mozzarella cheese over the top of each cap.

Return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese has melted.

1 serving = 1 cap
