Good hearty chili to fill you up and keep you warm! Good hearty chili to fill you up and keep you warm!
Number of Servings: 10


    1 lb ground beef, 80% lean
    3 cans dark red kidney beans, drained
    3 cans light red kidney beans, drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cans tomato paste
    1 can tomato puree
    3 TBS chili powder
    1 TBS garlic powder
    1 TBS black pepper


In a 6 quart crock pot, combine all ingredients except ground beef. In a separate skillet, brown ground beef and then drain, and add to crock pot. Stir to blend all ingredients well. Cover with lid and cook on low setting for approximately 5 hours.

Makes approximately 10 servings.
