Introduction

Ingredients

3 cups water
1 lemon grass (I cut the grass in three long pieces and remove it from the soup before dishing up)
1 piece of ginger root - about the size of a thumbnail - finely chopped
1 cup chopped Napa (Chinese) cabbage
1/2 small onion - cut in long pieces
1 vegetable bouillon cube or 1 heaped teaspoon granules
1 tsp Kikkoman soy sauce
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
Directions
Serves 2
1. Chop everything as directed
2. Bring water and bouillon to the boil
3. Add all the leftover ingredients and cook for 5 to 7 minutes
Enjoy as is or with toasted seed-loaf.
