I also used 1 cup of leftover rolled oats which would be 1/2 cup of plain old fashioned rolled oats.

Ingredients

2 c. sourdough sponge
1 1/2 c. water saved from boiling potatoes
1 t. salt
1 Tbsp canola oil
1 c. cooked and cooled left over rolled oats
Directions
combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
Lightly spray hot waffle iron and add 1/3 of the batter. Set the timer for 7 minutes to 10 minutes depending on your iron.
It will make 3 waffles.
