    6 oz beef round steak, chopped into 1/2 inch cubes
    1/2 cup yellow onion, chopped
    1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
    2 T olive oil
    1 can (15 oz) black beans, undrained
    1 can (15.25 oz) whole kernel corn, undrained
    1 can (14.5 oz) stewed tomatoes, undrained
    1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, undrained
    1/2 T chili powder
    1/2 T garlic salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp cumin


In a large, non-stick soup pot, add olive oil; brown meat, add onions and peppers, heating until veggies are soft.

Add all of the remaining ingredients, stirring together well. Cook on medium heat for approximately 20 minutes. Add ingredients as you like them (Rotel, green chiles, etc.)

Makes about 6 1-1/2 cup servings
