Ingredients

1 bag (about 7.5 oz) tortilla chips, crushed slightly
2 lbs extra lean ground beef
    1-1/3 cup water
    2 packets taco seasoning mix
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup fat free or light sour cream

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place crushed tortillas in bottom of foil or other 13x9 baking dish, set aside. Crumble and cook hamburger over medium heat until no longer pink, drain off grease. Stir in water and both packets of taco seasoning until well blended, cook 5 minutes until sauce is thickened. Spoon over chips. Sprinkle cheese over hamburger. Place in oven for 5 to 8 minutes to melt cheese slightly. Remove from oven and spread sour cream over cheese. Top with shredded lettuce and taco sauce. Serve warm. Makes about 16 (1/2 cup) servings.
