Introduction

Ingredients

1 C Soy Protein Powder (Vanilla or Chocolate)
3/4 C All Purpose Flour
2 C Rolled Oats
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 C Cocoa
3/4 Tsp Salt
2 Bakers chocolate unsweeted squares (chopped)
1 1/2 C of Apple Sauce
1/2 C Peanut Butter, Smooth
2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 C brown Sugar not packed
Optional
1/2 C Nuts (Almonds, Walnuts, Ect.)
1/2 C Dried Fruit ( Cranberries, raisons, appricots)
Directions
1. Prheat Oven to 350 F
2. Lightly spray a 9 X 13' Pan, with non stick spray
3. Mix together; protein powder, flour, oats, cocoa and cinnamon.
4. Crumble in brown sugar, rubbing it with your fingers to break up any clumps.
5. Stir in the chocolate
6. Measure Apple sauce, peanut butter and vanilla in a separate bowl, Stirring until well combined.
7. Add the wet mixture to the dry, and mix patiently until thoughly blended (you may want to use your hands, batter will be thick)
8. Transfer mixture to the prepared pan, patting evenly into place.
9. Bake in the center of the ovenfor 15-20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool completely and cut into 16 bars
