Ingredients

    Fresh blackberries with sugar, butter, sugar, self-rising flour, and skim milk.

Directions

Mix the blackberries with the .25 cup sugar, set aside. Place the .5 stick of butter in a 9X9 square baking pan, put in 350 degree oven to melt butter while oven preheats. Mix the .5 cup sugar, .5 cup self-rising flour, and .5 cup skim milk, stirring well. When oven is preheated, remove baking pan and add berries. Pour the sugar/flour/milk mixture evenly over the berries. Bake for 20-30 minutes, then cool briefly before devouring. Makes 9 servings.
