    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup mashed banana
    1 large egg
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    2 cups oats
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup chocolate chips
    1/3 cup flax seeds
    1 tsp cinnamon


Makes 30 cookies.
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter and splenda.
Mix in egg and banana.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 12 minutes. Do not over bake, cookies will be soft.
Cool on wire rack

    These are awesome! Thank you for sharing. I did grind the flax since unground, we don't get the great benefits available. I also used raw sugar as I prefer natural ingredients even if calories are increased. Will definitely make again. - 6/10/10
