This is a McCormicks recipe and it is pretty tasty with lots of flavor. This is a McCormicks recipe and it is pretty tasty with lots of flavor.
Number of Servings: 4


    Pork Tenderloin 1 lb
    Flour 1 TBS
    Olive Oil, 2 TBS
    Onion 1 medium thinly sliced
    Apples 2 medium thinly sliced
    Water 1/2 cup (can use apple juice instead)
    Brown Sugar 1 TBS
    Rubbed Sage 1 1/2 tsp
    Dehydrated minced garlic 1tsp
    Thyme leaves 1 tsp
    Allspice 1/2 tsp
    Paprika 1/2 tsp


1) Mix flour and of the spices in a small bowl. Sprinkle both side of pork chops with 1 TBS of seasoned flour.
2)Cook pork chops in hot oil in large skillet on med-high until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet. Add onion cook and stir for three minutes or until tender. Add apple cook and sitr two minutes.
3) Stir in water/juice, sugar and remaining seasoned flour until well mixed. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.

    I thought pork needed a little more salt, and there was a bit too much sage for my liking. Overall pretty good. Liked the cooked apple & onions. - 11/3/10
