Introduction

chicken and rice chicken and rice
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 whole cut up chicken
    3 cups of white rice (uncooked)
    6 cups of water (for rice)
    1 pkg of turkey saugage sliced
    water for chicken
    pepper to taste

Directions

Makes about 6 to 10 servings

wash your hands before and after handling raw meat!
wash chicken and place in large pot
add water until chicken covered
boil until chicken falls apart (about 2 to 3hrs)
in mean time slice turkey saugage, set aside
when chicken is done remove skin and bones (make sure chicken is cool by running under cold water)
toss out the skin bones and broth
place chicken back in pot
add 3 cups of rice and 6 cups of water
add sauage
bring to a boil
cover and reduce to simmer
No peeking!
let simmer for 20 minutes until rice is done!
Enjoy! Serving=1 cup each
