Number of Servings: 4

    1 lb ground turkey
1 envelope beef onion soup mix (I use homemade to decrease sodium content)
    2 T worcestershire sauce
    3 cloves garlic
    1.5 cups sliced mushrooms
3 cups low sodium vegetable broth
1/4 cup no salt added tomato paste
    Cooking spray for pan

1. Combine turkey, 2 T of soup mix, 1 T worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Shape into 4 patties about 1/2 inch thick.
2. Coat skillet with cooking spray. Cook patties over medium-high heat 3-4 minutes or until browned, turning once. Remove and set aside. Add mushrooms. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender. Add broth, tomato paste and remaining worcestershire sauce and soup mix. Sitr, scraping up browned bits. Return patties to skillet.
3. Spoon sauce over patties. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 8 minutes or until patties are 160 degrees F.

Serve with White Bean Mash (see recipe). Makes 4 servings.

Number of Servings: 4
