My favorite breakfast or snack lately, this easy one bowl dish has everything you need ... fruit, dairy, carbs, fiber, protein, and delicious, too! My favorite breakfast or snack lately, this easy one bowl dish has everything you need ... fruit, dairy, carbs, fiber, protein, and delicious, too!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 cup frozen mixed berries
    1/2 cup non-fat plain yogurt
    1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese
    2 Tbsp ground flax
    1 packet truvia (or other favorite sweetener)
    1/2 cup Honey Bunches of Oats with Pecans cereal

Directions

Thaw berries in microwave, leaving slightly frozen. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir and enjoy.

Try other frozen or fresh fruits and/or other cereals (don't forget to adjust nutritional values)
~ 1/2 small banana, 1/4 cup fresh (or 1/2 cup frozen thawed) sliced strawberries, and chocolate cheerios makes a 'wanna be' banana split - especially if you use cottage cheese with pineapple
~ fresh or frozen peaches and honey bunches of oats with almonds
~ a small apple peeled, cored, diced and honey bunches of oats with cinnamon plus a sprinkle of cinnamon
~ strawberries and special k strawberry
