Introduction

A recipe I made up to replace JM's pepperjack burgers. So yummy. Use any salsa and cheese you like. A recipe I made up to replace JM's pepperjack burgers. So yummy. Use any salsa and cheese you like.

Ingredients

    1 package Laura's Lean ground Beef (8% fat)- 15 oz in this case
    1/8 cup panko breadcrumbs
    1/4 cup egg beaters
    6 tbsp (1/4 + 1/8 cup) salsa (I used private selection smoky chipotle)
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    2 oz shredded cheese (I use Cabot 75% reduced fat)

Directions

Mix all with hands and form into four patties. Grill, turning once until desired doneness. On my grill (a Holland, which cooks more like an oven) this is 12 minutes on one side and 10 on the other.
