Ingredients

    * Asparagus, canned, 3 can (300 x 407)
    * *Pasta, Lasagna Noodles, 16 oz
    * Oscar Mayer Ham, 12 slice
    * Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 32 oz
    * Milk, nonfat, 3.5 cup
    * *Margarine, soft, 3 tsp
    * Thyme, ground, .75 tsp
    * Pepper, black, .25 tsp
    * Salt, 1 tsp
    * *Flour, white, .3 tablespoons
    * Garlic, 3 cloves

Directions

Drain the asparagus, set aside.

Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions, drain completely, rinsed in cold water to prevent noodles from sticking.

Cut up ham into julienne strips.

To make sauce:

In a sauce pan, place 2.5 cups of milk, the butter, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper, heat on medium high. In a gravy shaker, put the rest of the milk (one cup) and flour inside, shake well until there are no flour lumps. Add to the saucepan, cook until thickened.

Spray the bottom of a 2 quart casserole dish with Pam spray. Place just enough sauce to coat the bottom. Place a layer of lasagna noodles, sauce, ham, asparagus and cheese, continue until all ingredients are gone. The top layer should have sauce and mozzarella cheese only on it.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes.
