Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    * Oats, 1 cup
    * *Bob's Red Mill Oat Flour-1/3 cup
    * Honey, .5 cup
    * Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, .3 cup
    * Medjool dates, 6 date, pitted
    * Pecans, 1 cup, chopped
    * Baking Soda, .5 tsp
    * Baking Powder, .
    * Milk, 1%, .25 cup

Directions

Place oats in food processor, process for about 30 seconds until in smaller pieces. Add the rest of the dry ingredients including nuts, process another 30-60 seconds. Add dates, process until dates are incorporated to where you can't see them individually. (about 1 minute) Add honey and milk. Mix until incorporated.

Pour into a greased 9" baking dish. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes--don't over-bake it. Let cool, then cut into about 18 one-inch squares. These are very filling.

You could add chocolate chips, dried fruit or chopped nuts to these. You can also replace the dates with dried cherries for a more complex flavor. You could omit the cocoa powder for a blonde bar version.
