    3 pound london broil
    2 15 1/2 oz cans hanover kidney beans
    1 14 1/2 oz can delmonte diced tomatoes
    1 14 1/2 oz can food lion beef broth
    1 pkg McCormik chili seasoning
    1 med onion chopped
    1 14 1/2 oz can pieces and stems mushrooms
    2 cups water


Sear london broil over med heat on both sides to hold in juices. Add 1 can beef broth and 1 cup water and simmer over med to med low heat until roast starts to string apart about 3 hours. Add seasoning packet and 1 cup water and chopped onion. Cook until onion is transparent. Add remaining ingredients and extra water if needed. Simmer about 20-30 minutes. Makes 15 1 cup servings. To reduce amount of sodium substiute no salt added tomatoes and lowe sodium broth. I have found wal marts great value brand has the lowest amount of sodium at about 150 mg per 1 cup. Also you can cook dried kidney beans without salt. I just used what I had at the time.
