    2 (15 oz) cans black beans, undrained (low sodium if avail)
    1/2 cup bottled salsa
    1Tbsp chili powder
    1 (16oz) can chicken broth (low sodium if avail)
    1/2 cup shredded cheese
    5 Tbsp sour cream
    5 Tbsp minced green onions
    2 1/2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro


Place beans and liquid in a medium saucepan; partially mash beans with a potato masher (or fork). Place over high heat; stir in salsa, chili powder and broth. Bring to a boil. Ladle soup into bowls. Top with cheese, sour cream onions and cilantro.
