Ingredients

1 lbs lean ground beef
1 onion chopped
12 oz tomato paste
14.5 oz crushed tomato
2 c water
1 tbsp oregano
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 c parmesan cheese
1 egg
9 lasagna noodles
12 oz cottage cheese
1 pd mozza cheese
1/2 box frozen spinach, thawed
Directions
Brown beef and drain
Cook onion until translucent
Combine beef and onion with tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, water, oregan, garlic powder, salt, pepper and sugar
cook over med heat until mixture comes to a boil. reduce to low and simmer 1 hr
While sauce simmers, blend comttage cheese, parmesan, egg and spinach until smooth. set aside
Cook noodles as directed on box
Preheat oven to 350
Spread 1 c sauce in bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish
Cover sauce with 3 noddles
Cover noodles with 1/3 of sauce
Top with 1/2 mozza
Place another layer of noodles then sauce
Top with cottage cheese mixture
top with 3 noodles and remainng sauce
Bake in oven for 30 min
Sprinkle remaining mozzz on top and bake 15 min until golden and bubbly
