Number of Servings: 4


    4 Boneless Pork Chops (loin chops 3/4 inch thick work best)
    2 tsp dried oregano
    2 T smart balance
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 - 2 tsp ground black pepper
    1 cup low sodium chicken broth

    ** Note Serving size assumes 1 4 oz Chop


Trim fat from pork chops
In a small bowl, mix oregano and ground pepper
Rub mixture onto both sides of pork chops
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat
Stir the garlic into the melted butter, then place the pork chops in the skillet.
Cook the pork chops 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to gentle bubbling state
Turn the heat down to low/med-low (just enough to gently simmer)
Simmer for 35 to 40 minutes (turning once), or until pork chops are fully cooked and meat thermometer inserted in the thickest chop reads 160 degrees
Remove and serve with favorite veggie or potato (not included in nutrition analysis)
