Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Approximately 1 lb. ground turkey breast
    1 can (16 oz.) tomato sauce
    Approximately 1 can water
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 cup cottage cheese (1% milkfat)
    0.5 cup grated parmesean cheese
    2 tbsp. basil
    1 tsp ground oregano
    1 tsp. ground red pepper
    8 oz. whole wheat penne pasta (or ziti or rigatoni), dry

Directions

Put all ingredients in a Crockpot or slow cooker; stir together. (Do not cook pasta; that is what the water is for). Set Crockpot to high and cook 4 hours. Serves 6 generously.
