    # Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    # Garlic, 2 clove (remove)
    # Thyme, fresh, 2 tsp (remove)
    # Chicken Broth or Bouillon, 4 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    # Broccoli, fresh, 5 cup, chopped (remove)
    # *cornstarch, 1 tbsp (remove)
    # Milk, canned, evaporated, nonfat, .66 cup (remove)
    # Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp (remove)
    # *Kraft Mexican Style 4 Cheese Blend (2% Milk), 0.75 cup


Heat the oil and cook the garlic. Crush thyme and add.

Add broth and broccoli. Cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until broccoli is tender but not mushy. Transfer the soup to a blender. Puree until smooth and transfer back to the pot.

In a small bowl, mix up the cornstarch and evaporated milk. pour the mixture into the soup. Add the cayenne pepper. Gently heat to a low simmer for 5 minutes, or until soup thickens slightly. Stir the cheese into the soup, cook for one minute, and serve.
