Introduction

A favorite at my house.
Surprisingly savoury.

Ingredients

    1tbsp olive oil
    1/2 medium onion chopped
    1 cup basmati rice
    dash salt
    dash cumin seed
    3.5 cups water
    1 cup peas

Directions

1. Saute onions in olive oil over medium heat for 5mins, or until soft.

2. Add rice, salt, cumin seed, & stir.

3. Add water, bring to boil, then lower heat. Cover and simmer for 20mins.

4. Stir in peas and let sit for 5 mins to heat through.
