    3 c, all bran cereal
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. ground flaxseed
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
    1 T. sugar
    2 1/2 t. baking soda
    1 T. baking powder


Combine cereal, raisins, flaxseed and oil. Pour boiling water over and let stand 5 minutes. While waiting, combine buttermilk, egg and molasses. Add to bran mixture and stir to combine. In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, soda and powder. Add to bran mixture, stirring just until moistened. Let stand 15-30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400 - spray muffin tins, or use silicone inserts - bake 15 minutes.
