Introduction

A crunchy, healthy topping for yogurt. I used pre-washed quinoa, so I skipped the rinsing step. I also used Milled flax seed instead of whole flax. A crunchy, healthy topping for yogurt. I used pre-washed quinoa, so I skipped the rinsing step. I also used Milled flax seed instead of whole flax.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 cup quinoa
    1/4 cup flaxseed
    1 tbso honey
    1 tbso olive oil

Directions

1 serving= 1/4 cup. Yield for me was 1.5 cup (6 servings)
Heat oven to 375.
Place quinoa in mesh strainer and rinse under cold water until water runs clear. Drain well.
Transfer quinoa to medium bowl and add honey, flax, and olive oil. Mix until well combined.
Spread in a thin layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake 10-15 minutes, until lightly browned, stirring once.
Cool and store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

(suggest serving on greek yogurt with honey and berries)
