Ingredients

    1Tbsp butter
    1small onion, finely chopped
2 cups plain yogurt ( I used Greek)
    1/2 tsp white vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1tsp garlic powder(optional)
herbs of your liking to taste(optional)

Directions

1. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions in butter until tender and lightly browned.
2.Transfer onions to serving bowel and stir in yogurt and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add garlic powder and herbs if using. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to blend flavors. this tastes even better if it sits over night, the onion flavor gets stronger.
