Introduction

this cake helps my chocolate craving while giving me a little something more than a candy bar. I don't do frosting on this like the rest of the family as it adds to the calories but a little treat once in a while is not so bad.
this cake helps my chocolate craving while giving me a little something more than a candy bar. I don't do frosting on this like the rest of the family as it adds to the calories but a little treat once in a while is not so bad.

Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    2 cups - King Arthur Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched and unbleached
    1 cup - Granulated Sugar
    2 tsp - Baking Soda
    1 cup - Water, tap
    1 cup Miracle Whip - Kraft
    1/4 cup - King Arthur Flour - Double Dutch Dark Cocoa (or any other good cocoa)

Directions

1. Put all ingredients in large mixer bowl and beat until well mixed.
2. Pour into an 8" by 11" greased pan.
3. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

You can add two tblsp of semi-sweet chocolate chips prior to baking if you want a little more chocolate. This will add a little more in the calorie department.
